Our kids love to be able to pick out and cut down their own Christmas tree. Thank you for always having wonderful staff, beautiful trees, and fun activities for the children!! I take my family every year. All the staff is amazing and very easy to talk to.
Us and the kids really enjoy the hayride, picking out a tree, and cutting it down ourselves. The twins help dad cut it down and we take videos. Its such a delight to have this place here close to where we live. Adults are free. We will have pony and cart rides available. Lots and lots of photo opportunities.
Last year we were voted 7 out of 10 of the best pumpkin patches in Houston and we had the Little Couple film and episode at our pumpkin patch. That isn't good enough we took all the constructive comments and this year will be even better.
Here are some of the great improvements we have in store; we have opened up our entire 30 acres. In the past all activities were on half of the property. The shade will make the experience better for the children and the horse. We have made our Haunted Trail longer for more scary fun. We are having patrons walk back and forth across the bridge. No more long lines for Hay Ride back to the car.
We have added 2 additional drink and chip booths at different spots on the property. We have invited some of the best food trucks in Houston so food will be available for purchase and offer great choices on their menus.
This is a a fundraiser for our organization but first and formost we want everyone to have fun!!! Come visit the Patch and pick out your special holiday pumpkins.

Texas Oil Ranch is a acre amusement park and event venue that offers a hands-on experience at a working ranch through a variety of activities and events. During October there are hay rides, scarecrow scenes featuring more than 85 scarecrows, and thousands of pumpkins piled high for photo ops.
